Keeping Track - June 2009

Can you believe it is July already? I'm pretty glad June is over actually, because my tally is not looking good. How nice to start with a clean slate this month. Except for the YTD tally ... oh well.

I'm going to get this over quickly - tear off the bandaid fast, so to speak. I've already flashed most of this month's acquisitions (here, and here), and to round things off, this arrived yesterday:
How could I resist? When I knit this into socks, they shall be called "And Buffy Staked Edward. The End". I'm excited!

In: 51 x 50g balls of yarn
Out: 17 x 50g balls of yarn
YTD: +1o1.5 x 50g balls of yarn...
And I'm going to Bendigo this month ... better leave my purse at home!!

51!!!

Can you please, some time just for fun, do a tally of the first six months of the year in graph form? A pie chart even? Or something like that. I want to see a half yearly ilustrated report!

The name of the socks is so good!

You need to add a witty comment from Buffy as killing occurs!

Bells is so funny Illustrative Stash Aquisition is not a task I would want to do!

oh, I'm jealous - mine hasn't arrived yet!!

and if you're going to Bendigo, we should try and arrange to meet? At this stage, I'll be there Fri/Sat?

I love that wool. Great colour.

Thanks for this latest stash update; I feel a little less guilty about mine (which I don't dare quantify!).

Sadly for me my stash fund has dried up, not much happening on that front at the moment. So, I'm glad to see that someone out there is still buying yummy yarn, don't feel too bad, just think of it as making up for the gaping hole the yarn stores would be feeling due to my lack of spending ;)

Great colourway for vampire themed socks too, looking forward to seeing them.

What fun would leaving the wallet home be? I love the Buffy yarn and your title is perfect.

Well, credit cards are small and slim. I find that one fits quite nicely in my pocket... so you don't really need a purse, now do you?

Lovely yarn you acquired! I do like the gift bibs, so nicely presented.

go buffy! and of course you will take your purse to bendigo and we expect pictures of that too. 51 balls in one month? is that a lot? surely someone somewhere did more than that....

Can't wait to see those socks - love the name!!

51? Is that a typo? You meant 15 right? No?

Have fun in Bendigo! I'm still hoping to get there. Fingers crossed!

51? That's five jumpers, or 25 pairs of socks, probably 10 sets of matching scarves, tams and mittens (in the unlikely event you'd want these), maybe two overcoats! And you've got Bendigo coming up...bonne chance (as we say now the Tour de France is almost here).

I bought the exact same sock yarn from Knitabulous plus a few other colorways. It looks as though the last half of 2009 will be spent knitting socks around here.

holy - i'm excited for you - this yarn looks like it's going to be a joy to work with.

You've just made me feel 100% better about all my stash enhancements this month! Good for you! And I just lept on the Count Sockular last night after staking out the Etsy shop - I then did the Dance of Joy and quoted Buffy all night.

Hey good work on making me feel better :o)

I hail your sock name as the most coolest ever.

I have stopped counting my stash. Have fun at Bendigo & don't forget your wallet.

I agree with Bells - charts, please!!!

I don't use a chart, I just go by my Guilt-O-Meter. When I start to feel bad about all the nice yarn I've bought and am neglecting, it's time to knit instead of buy yarn!
