Wow, looks great! Unfortunately while it *is* an American treat, I think it's a fairly regional one. I never had it growing up in the Midwest.
I agree that it's regional. I haven't ever had it in the Midwest, either.
It looks so delicious but it's too much work for me!
It's one of our favorites. You can get away with using yellow cake mix, a really good pudding mix and a can of chocolate frosting melted in the microwave if you're in a hurry. And cakes done in the food processor don't get enough air beat into them so they tend not to rise.....ask me how I know this.
It looks fab. I'm going to avoid that other blog of yours as I'm trying to lose weight at the moment... you temptress you!
