Some progress to speak of

There is knitting happening at the house of RoseRed, promise. But you know how it is, photos of a longer scarf,a longer clappy, a still unsewn up completely Beau, and a longer sock are just not that exciting. Well, except when it's a longer Pomatomus, because it really is, for me anyway, quite an achievement just to finish one pattern repeat.I had to change from my bamboo dpns to KnitPicks - I needed some pointy grunt to help me with the k2tog tbl parts! Still loving the yarn and loving the pattern - it's just not going to be a quick knit for me - but worth it!

ooooh....it's divine. One repeat? God it's slower than her monkey socks. But sooo lovely!

Oh and the grunt would be vital, I imagine. Bamboos would just not cut it.

Don't worry - they get easier/faster with time... eventually you figure out the pattern. But yes, you definitely need point needles for it. Love the color!

What lovely yarn! The pattern looks cool, but I'm not sure about k2tog tbl, that sounds like it takes some doing. I'll bet they look great when they're finished, though!!

That looks beautiful. Is the yarn "Cherries"? I was never able to master the Poms. They came out huge and wonky. Yours looks awesome!

It's pattern that is WELL worth the fight to get it sorted in your head. A great challenge and they always look fantastic when finished.

Well done.

Brilliant! They are just gorgeous! I found doing an SSK decrease much easier (with the same effect) than the k2 tog tbl...
