I've survived!

It's been a week since we moved house, and while I've still got a few (ok, a fair few) boxes to unpack, most of the house is done, and it is definitely liveable. I've just got a lot of stuff...even the removalists said so!

What I don't have, though, is very good internet access right now - won't have that until after Christmas (ugh, how will I cope??!!). So expect some more detailed posts then. Hope you are all surviving the lead up to Christmas too.

In a way, you couldn't ask for a crappier time to move house, right before Christmas - but I can't wait to come and see it (and for you to be online more often!!!)

Nice to hear from you - glad the move went OK and you are almost settled in.

Have a fantastic Christmas!

I'm glad you made it! You must be so glad to be mostly settled. We're moving next Sunday so I'm dividing my time between Christmas prep and packing. Fun times.

We have a lot of 'stuff' too, the real estate agent could never resist commenting on it when she inpsected, which I found very rude. So glad all that's done with.

I'm glad the major part is done with, at any rate. I moved right around Christmas, too, five years ago. We had guests on Christmas Eve, when everything was packed up but the kitchen and the living room, pretty much! And I was pregnant! I don't know how I did it...

Merry Christmas to you, and how nice you can celebrate it in your new home!

I think I've finally got the last box unpacked. We've only been in our house for - eek! - 18 years.

The boxes can wait. It becomes like opening gifts to yourself after a while. "Oh look, look what we have!" Enjoy your holiday in your new home. Something exciting about a new home...

I still can't believe you managed to move and send Chrissie parcels - you're a marvel!

Have a wonderful Christmas in your new home!

Heck, when I last moved to this place, I still had boxes I hadn't unpacked from a move about 3 years before. And dare I say it, four years later they're still there unpacked. Books and stuff. It could be fun to do it this weekend I think, you've spurred me on.

oh I always get told by removalists how much stuff I have! I think it has to do with having more than one craft!

I still have a few more boxes to unpack but hope you're enjoying your new big house! I'm loving mine

Corrie;)

Very glad you've survived the move - horrible things at the best of times ...
Hope your new house is rapidly becoming a home, and that your interbets is working better now :)
