Ravelry and lovely husbands (possibly related but not in this post)

First up - is anyone in the market for a Ravelry t-shirt? I was accidentally sent an extra one the same as the one I'd ordered, so rather than sending it back to the US, I thought I 'd offer it around - it's a black Hanes beefy T in XL "I swatched Ravelry". It's pretty big actually, 45" or 115cm across the chest area - if anyone would like it, leave a comment or send an email - the cost of the shirt including postage was US$32 but its yours for A$25 or nearest offer! These are no longer available from Ravelry so get in now for your piece of knitting collectables history!! (heh!)Second up - I arrived home last Sunday around lunch time, after doing the grocery shopping, to find this:Yes, that's right, that's my husband on his hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor! He is no longer a bathroom cleaning virgin (although he does remain a toilet cleaning virgin...not sure why, as the toilet is actually in the bathroom. Clearly, cleaning the outside of the toilet is all it needs!! Not that I'm complaining, mind...) Have no idea what drove my husband to clean the bathroom (apart from it needing it, but that's hardly a rare occurrence! I just thought I was the only one in our relationship who noticed!). Let's hope this is just the start of many happy hours husby will share with the bathroom cleaning products!

What a guy!

I'm wondering now why I didn't buy a men's shirt. The ladies shirt I bought is too white and too thin. I have to layer it over something.

What are we to make of the endless butt shots of your lovely husband, hmmm??? This is like the 3rd in a month!

and wow - I'm surprised you didn't faint. I know I would if I found mine doing that level of work on the bathroom!

In our house the bathroom is considered my job because it's my hair and products all over it! Fair call.

There was a time when Jim used to clean the bathroom because he was so bored knocking around the house. Sadly, I think I will never see those days again. It makes me smile to know that there's a lucky woman out there whose mate will slowly learn the (dubious) joys of cleaning one's porcelain, inside and out.

Is H trying to get SNAG of the year! Doing a great job of it. I have a mountain of clothes to put away like a weeks worth and feel like a liedown at the thought of it. How is H at putting clothes away more then welcome to have him come over here and lend a hand. Nice gloves I don't even much to my Hs horror use gloves while using cleaning products.

My husby is still a bathroom and toilet cleaning virgin! Nice to see a man on his knees though!

it is indeed a sight to behold. there must be some y chromosome thing about the inability to clean a toilet though.

I'm thinking you should discount that shirt further if Husby cleaned the bathroom in it.

Heh heh

Wha? It's not the same shirt?

See ya Sunday as you fly over the top of my car driving, driving, driving for hours and hours with no-one to talk to .......think of all that lost knitting time. Heh hehh.

Clearly, I'm the only one who thought "Hmmm...he's been sprung cleaning the bathroom while his wife's out of the house - exactly what was he trying to clean up that he didn't want his wife to see???"

I must be some kind of detective! (Or some kind of pervy).

Excellent job getting the photographic evidence. You can wave it before him in a year's time when it needs doing again and it appears he's forgotten how it's done ; D

If it's still around, I'll take the T-shirt for $25 :]
