Last night it was all about the pyjamas, dressing gown and slippers - even Nelly got in on the act!
She's now resumed her usual winter position of cosying up in my lap, after ignoring me all summer. Cats are truly a fickle (but smart) creature.I love these slippers, which I bought about 3 or 4 years ago from Next, in the UK. Clearly, red. With a cat on them. And machine washable! They so are "purrfect" for me - a crazy knitting cat lady.

SHOESday: Mmmmm, cosy!
So it's been cold yesterday and today! A maximum of 17C (63F)! I know that's not really cold for lots of people, but when you are coming off a weekend where the temperature was 25C (77F), that's a big change.

Oh yes, they ARE puurfect. Do your ankles get cold in backless slippers? Or do you wear handknit socks with them?
Nope, my ankles don't get cold and I don't usually wear socks with slippers (a person has to have some standards!!!). Sometimes I wear my log cabin socks instead of slippers though...
Oh, 63F, Brrrrr! How DO you do it! (That was mockery!) But loving mockery... It's just creeping into the 70's here, and we are grateful! Soon, I'll pack away the heating pad. Soon...
Love the slippers - our old house gets COLD i winter so I wear uggies - but will be knitting clogs for MYSELF this winter (Everyone else got theirs last winter!)
Um, yeah. That's WARM. At least, it's finally hit the 60s lately and it feels utterly warm--windows open in the car, shedding the winter jackets... Sigh. Do I live in the wrong hemisphere?
That really does look super cosy - snuggle-icious
I am off to next later and need some new slippers, yours look cosy!
socks and slippers is a bad thing?
That's cold weather to me, too! Perfectly warm slippers, how sweet.
speaking of log cabin socks - i'm still lovin' the ones you made me.
Wow - that's the first time I'd seen your cat IRL! Well, not IRL, but IR photo! So cute! Love the slippers, too - wish we were headed back to winter instead of into summer.... Oh well; we're just six months off!
Oh such gorgeous slippers! And - what - they're RED? I don't believe it! ;)
Slippers? Lovely and red and I expect they go fast??!!
But, I saw your gumboots in town at the weekend and loudly announced:"Oh look, RoseRed's Gumboots!!!!!"....... Do they eat your socks??
Yes, I think that is the first time I've seen your cat.
It's not so much how high and low the highs and lows are, as the contrastiness. It was -2 C/28 F when I took the child to school this morning, and when I did a little yard work after picking him up, I got too hot for my jacket at 14 C/57 F.
Only last week it was in the 70 to 80 range and I had shorts on!
Man, it did get cold all of a sudden - and I can't find a single pair of socks in his damn place!!
Very cute slippers J! ;)
Lovely to see your Nelly! (Mine is being very badly behaved at the moment, must be the imminent arrival of the Wriggler and resultant preparations.) She looks like a very good and smart girl.
