SHOESday: Pretty

The last installment of brown shoes (well, I've got brown boots, but they'll have to wait for boot month).
I bought these at my LSS (local shoe shop!). It's near work and while most of the range it carries are fairly sensible, practical work shoes, it will usually have one or two pairs which really stand out. And one day when I ducked in at lunch time with a work friend, these were it.

I was standing on front of the mirror admiring them on my feet when I said to my friend "But what would I wear these with?" (see, I am practical to some extent!!).
To which she replied: "the outfit you have on, fool!" (or words to that effect). For I was wearing wide legged brown pants (trousers for you English folk!) and a green top, which picks up the colour in the fabric.
Clearly that sealed the deal. Had to have them.
Love love love the fabric on the wedge and holding on the carved-y thingy on the front, and the narrow heel. And the carved-y thingy (which I'd like to think is wooden but which I think is actually plastic!)

Oh so so so so cute! And who cares if you have anything they'd go with - goodness me girl! If all else fails - wear jeans! - or buy something to go with the shoes!

Too many funny things in this post.

Boot Month. There's a Boot Month now?

LSS - did you coin that? Even Sean who is sitting nearby right now, got that!

And carved-y thingy - did you write this really early and find yourself stumped for words? tee hee

They are lovely. I love the fabric on the heels, too and the fact that it is different on both shoes. So novel!

OK, I've loved all of your shoes, but I actually started drooling over these! They are my absolute faves so far--and I thought that weeks ago about some other shoes. But these are definitely it!

They are so great. I can see them under some brown pants or some beige pants or some green pants or a green skirt, or a denim skirt....Those are some versatile shoes.

Wow, as usual you show off your exceedingly good taste and sense of style!

are you good about wearing shoes you buy? I am a Shoe Anonymous member (if there was one) and have no problem dropping insane amounts of my very small coinage on spike heels, bejeweled wedges, kitten heels with toe cleavage- all of which are in pristine condition- since I've worn them maybe once. I lurve them!! but never anywhere to wear them. :(
I'm sure you wanted my life story, but to sum up, those are really cute-tastic and you should wear them!
