There's Lady E, which I love because of the yarn, the colour and because I feel so darn stylish every time I wear it.
There's husby's Interlocking Balloons scarf, which I love as it was my introduction to cables. And I just think it is a very clever pattern. And is knitted using Zara, which I've decided is my favourite 8ply/DK weight yarn - great range of colours, easy to get, reasonably priced, machine washable and knits up fabulously.
And on the husby theme, there's his Beau - such a manly jumper and looks so good on him.
And if you believe my projects page on Ravelry, every else's favourite knitted thing is (of all things) my iSock! As of the time of this post, 110 people have marked it as a favourite!! That still amazes me, for something so simple!
Bells has been trying to guess - she thought it might be Wednesday Adams. And while I do love Wednesday, it's not her either.
No, this is my favourite knitted thing:
Embossed leaves socks! My first Koigu. My first lace. My first lace socks! A fabulous fabulous pattern. And a gift for a dear friend. All the best things in one project.
What is your favourite knitted thing?

I love the tour through your favourites. I was close when I was trying to guess today what you'd post. A stunning array of beautiful work but yes, there's something about those socks - it's a fabulous pattern and yours are stunning. Love love love them!
I have to say my favourite is the STRAWBERRY (although not featured here) and Wednesday runs a close second. Not to say i'm not extremely impressed and envious of the other larger items!
Hmm - such lovely knitted goodies. I'll have to have a long think and see if I can come up with something!
Thanks for sharing yours - I love them all.
I'd have gone for Lady E - I think she'll be my fav if I ever finish her! Still I can see why you love those socks :o)
Thankyou, thankyou, thankyou. I now know what I'm going to knit for H.I. for his Christmas Prez - an iPod sock. Phew. This fella is impossible to buy for so now I don't hafta!
I'm also going to knit Lady E. for my sister's 50th birthday prez. While this is in May of 2010, it'll probably take me that long to be able to afford the Noro!
That scarf you made yourself is the most exquisitely divine thing I've ever seen. You wear it so well thrown nonchalantly over like that. Some people can wear scarves ever so elegantly.
No wonder you had such a hard time choosing: you have made so many beautiful things.
I'm having the same problem trying to pick a favorite. Usually my absolute favorite is whatever I'm knitting on, and that's just socks and the very center of a doily pattern right now.
I love, love, love your Lady Eleanor! So elegant. Lovely work on this post. My favorite is my chicken sweater. I don't usually do cutesy, but that was so much fun.
Eeek - pick ONE thing as a favorite??? Doubt I can do it. Yours are awesome though!!!
I'm going to have to try the Embossed Leaves, now, if they're THAT good. My favorite, I have to say, has been the Baby Mine, from Yarn Harlot. I LOVED knitting it - just when you were starting to get bored of a part, it changed. And I used stash for it, and there was NO SEWING! All of the best things in a knit.
can i pick 2 favorites of yours? your Lady E and your Wednesday Adams. oh no 3 - the socks you so kindly knit for me. i wear them every week!
What a lovely overview of some of your favourites! I have to say that my embossed leaves socks (also my first koigu) are also one of my favourites. It's a pattern that just gave me so much pleasure!
what a lovely idea for a post! I've thoroughly enjoyed your "tour" of your work - thank you!
and they're all gorgeous - how could one ever pick a favourite?!
