Shall I show you mine?

Like Bells, I received a lovely surprise in the mail on Wednesday - wish I'd posted yesterday too but this week really has been a shocker - can't wait 'til the weekend!

A package from the Mad, Mad Housewife (aka RachelW, or, affectionately, our stalker) - what could it be?
Squeeeeeeeeeeeee! Sundara sock yarn! This is totally my entry for Fibrelicious Friday (except that I forgot to make it look like food. Dang it. I have been coveting Sundara yarn for so long. Every so often I have a little looky at her site and always find the colours amazing.
An extreme closeup of the yarny goodness - such gorgeous tones and shades and variations. Must search out the perfect pattern for these (although I think they'll have to go in the queue after the Rose Red yarn - sigh - so many possibilities, so little time!!). Thank you so much Rachel - such a lovely thing to do - no doubt there'll be loads of good karma coming your way.

And a teaser for next week - hopefully by Monday this will be an FO. That is, if I don't get sucked into the Harry Potter vortex (which, clearly, I will - I'm not sure why I set such unrealistic expectations of myself!!)

What could it be?

It certainly is pretty, whatever it is! What a lovely color. It's tough to avoid the Harry Potter avalanche. I refuse to buy a copy because my daughter has ordered one and I will wait to read it until after she is done. She has promised not to reveal the ending but since I usually read the ending first, it won't matter.

What amazingly beautiful colours in that yarn! It does indeed need lots of thinking about the perfect project - cant wait to see what you come up with.

I'm a bit bah-humbug about the whole HP thing, and have even sought out some of the so-called "spoilers" - but I dont think they really give much away!

I'm guessing trellis cardigan. It is beautiful Wicked J!

Have re-read all the other Harry Potter's. Timed it perfectly - just finished Half Blood Prince last night. So all stories fresh in my mind. However, being the control freak that I am don't want to get it in Hard Cover as if won't go with my paperbacks (They all have to be the same size). I'm certainly not going to wait until it comes out in paperback so have been promised a lend from a friend after she has read it.

Want to make sure I read it before I find out the ending. Found out about twist in HBP before I read it and it really spoiled it for me.

Talking HP take a look at the link below. Lots of theories but no spoilers. Very interesting. Backs up your RAB theory!

Have you and husby seen the latest HP movie yet?

It's beautiful, whatever it is! And I'm glad you like the yarn! You'll love knitting with it even more, I promise - it is so springy and the colors so deep and changing. It's fun/1

Oh fantastic. We are lucky, lukcy girls. That grey over rose is just stunning. I love that combination.

And that other marvel, I believe, is the long awaited trellis cardi. God that's beautiful!

You know what? I have absolutely zero interest in Harry Potter. Am I a heathen?

What gorgeously elaborate cables. Love 'em!! Really wanting to know what it will turn out to be. As for the Rose on Gray yarn, no wonder you've been coveting that yarn. I'm guessing that there's a touch of silk in it given that there's such beautiful lustre. Looking forward to finding out what it's project will be.

Oooo, I don't know that it is but it looks gorgeous, whatever it is! I'll be in the HP vortex with you, so I probably won't be knitting!

Gorgeous sneak preview... I hope you are enjoying Harry Potter. I haven't managed to get past book 3, fall asleep while reading and the book is so heavy to hold in bed, how sad is that
